Mollusc writes and produces music for TV, Film and radio.
Started in 1993 by Anthony Smith and Jonathan Maris, Mollusc has produced work that is heard on shows around the globe. From National Geographic documentaries broadcast in say, Argentina, or maybe BBC World Service idents in Kenya and Tanzania, to Grand Designs in Britain. Lots of music for lots of people.
Mollusc uses Logic Pro and Metric Halo to take care of the technical bit and a menagerie of guitars, keyboards, samples, mandolins, whistles, bells ...you name it, help provide the music. We also have long-standing relationships with other musicians (singers, woodwind, strings ...) for specialist jobs.
Sadly Anthony passed away in 2013.
A talented, intelligent, gentle man. Greatly missed.
